Groundwater Site Inventory Database and Automated Groundwater Monitoring Sites
The ADWR Groundwater Site Inventory (GWSI) database is the main repository for statewide groundwater data regarding wells and springs. The GWSI consists of field verified data collected by personnel from the ADWR Hydrology Division and/or the U.S. Geological Survey. This information is continually being updated by ongoing field investigations and through a statewide network of water level and water quality monitoring sites. GWSI contains spatial and geographical data, owner information, well construction and well log data, and historic groundwater data including water level, water quality, well lift and pumpage records. The GWSI database consists of over 42,000 records of wells and over 210,000 ground-water level records statewide. Information on specifically designated
